Gene has led Tranzito since its founding in 2004 and advises California’s largest transit agencies and cities. Gene is adept at leading and building coalitions among varied stakeholders, guided by win-win strategies around a triple bottom line philosophy.
Adam Shapiro, VP Operations
Adam oversees daily operations for Tranzito, including customer support, employee management, field operations, installation and construction management, and logistics. Adam helped refine OpenCar’s liveFleet™ telematics system while at City CarShare; and BikeHub’s access control kiosk platform.
Seth Herr, CTO
Seth is an industry expert in software, telematics, app development, and global registration. Seth oversees the Tranzito hardware, software, and integration development team and strategic partners. Seth was Lead Backend Developer for Spin until its acquisition by Ford.
Larry Yermack, Ext. Strategic Advisor
A 2014 inductee to ITS America’s Hall of Fame, Larry advises Tranzito in transit tolling, ITS, and large-scale transportation policy. His storied career includes being New York City’s first deputy commissioner, deploying the world’s largest electronic toll system, and consulting with Cubic’s E-Z Pass NextCity initiative.
Ashish Parikh, Ext. Strategic Advisor
Ashish brings forward technology and business expertise across Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, electronics, cloud, communications, and customer experience. His work at Arrow Electronics leading IoT Platforms and Solutions helped build a fully agnostic, open source IoT platform as well as develop solutions across Smart & Connected Cities, Industries, and Retail that are deployable.
